We recognize the importance of making the best use of an attorney’s valuable time. As such, we’ve developed a highly successful model of brief, powerful, high-impact coaching for law firms.
One-on-One Coaching sessions for Associates and Partners
Each attorney meets privately with an experienced MacKenzie Brown coach for 45 minutes to an hour. Together, they choose a key communication skill to address, based on the attorney’s priorities. In a highly intensive session, the coach records the attorney in a benchmark exercise, gives directed feedback, and teaches the necessary skills.
After practicing the skills, he or she delivers a final, recorded drill, and sets goals for reinforcement. These sessions may target:
- Presence or presentation skills
- Kicking off meetings or calls
- Delivering difficult or complex information to clients
- Managing challenges with colleagues
- Building client relationships
- Landing new business
One to two-hour group seminars for Associates
In addition to private coaching, firms may choose to deliver 60-90 minute modules on any of the following topics to groups of Associates:
- Communicating with Impact
- Writing for Results
- Partnering with the Client
- Leadership Communication
- High Impact Presentations
Mr. MacKenzie is also available for key-note speeches or panel discussions on communication skills at firm partner meetings or off-sites.
